Upon discharge, Hennings joined the Dallas Cowboys, quickly earning a starting position as a defensive lineman. He spent his entire nine-year career with the Cowboys, retiring in 2001 with three Super Bowl rings.

Since ending his professional football career, Hennings has spent the last nine years in the business world as a successful real estate executive, investor, motivational speaker and author. He currently serves as Executive Vice President, Global Development for Fischer & Company, providing strategic corporate real estate solutions to global clients.
